Zaha Hadid Editorial Spread
Sweeping fluid forms meets fragmented geometry
This spread was created to highlight the 2004 Pritzker Laureate, Zaha Hadid. Her initial ‘Z’ is used to provide the foundation of the layout and creates a striking form that alludes to both her radical architectural work and the perception of her as a formidable personality. The angular layout is contrasted by the soft, approachable quality of Hadid’s portrait. This juxtaposition represents the variation that could be found in her work, which ranged from fluid to fragmented.
This is a conceptual layout created for a class project.
